ABOUT

Nature Photography Enthusiast
I reside in Abbotsford, nestled in the picturesque Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada, adjacent to the majestic Rocky Mountains and approximately 80 kilometers from Vancouver.
By day, as a consultant, I collaborate with IT developers, business analysts, project managers, and architects within the BC government health and financial sectors. In my leisure time, I passionately pursue photography.
A pivotal piece of advice that significantly enhanced my photographic skills came from a highly successful professional photographer. He recommended taking over 10,000 photos exclusively in manual mode, without ever switching to camera-assisted modes such as auto, shutter priority, or aperture priority. This approach compelled me to master the fundamentals of photography through trial and error, ultimately refining my technique.
My journey into photography reached an enthusiast level a decade ago when I began shooting with an APS-C crop sensor Canon 70D camera. Today, I capture the beauty of nature with my two full-frame mirrorless Canon cameras.
